Youth & learn to bowl
Kent Bowl has built young bowlers for generations β USBC youth leagues, learn-to-bowl classes with certified coaches, and real college scholarship money. New bowlers are always welcome.
USBC Youth League
Saturday mornings at 9:45am, September through April. New bowlers welcome, ages 6β20 (must be 19 or under on Aug 1). Coaching, structure and a lot of fun.
Learn to Bowl
A six-week program for ages 7β16, sponsored by Kent Parks & Recreation. Includes ball and shoe rental, weekly instruction and two games each week.
Youth / Adult Doubles
A summer doubles league pairing a youth bowler with a grown-up β a great way for families to bowl together and improve side by side.
Certified coaches who care
Our youth program is led by USBC-certified coaches who are RVP approved and Safe Sport trained, so kids learn the right fundamentals in a safe, positive environment. Whether your child has never rolled a ball or wants to compete, there's a place for them here.
Scholarship money on the line
Through the Youth Scholarship Program, Kent Bowl youth bowlers compete for USBC SMART scholarship funds β with around $3,000 awarded to help with college. Bowling that pays off in more ways than one.
Personal coaching available β ask the front desk for Coach Conrad B. Smith, or emailkentbowl@kentbowl.net.
